Brownback Says Romney is Misleading

The campaign for Sam Brownback has issued a statement that accuses Mitt Romney of being misleading regarding Brownback's stance on abortion.

Romney's camp suggested that Brownback had once been pro-choice, but had changed once elected to office, and that is when he had a conversion.

The Brownback campaign has hit back, saying that Mitt Romney has had 3 different positions on abortion. According to Brownback's campaign manager, Rob Wasinger, "Mitt Romney's flip flops are enough to make John Kerry blush" and said it was absurd that Romney was comparing himself to Sam Brownback.

The Brownback campaign maintains that he has always been pro-life.

Mitt Romney today officially announced that he will be seeking the Republican nomination for President.
