Sam Brownback appeared yesterday on Fox News Sunday with Chris Wallace, where he confirmed his opposition to the escalation in Iraq and his pro-life stance.
Brownback said that he will be supporting the Warner resolution in the Senate this week and stated "we've got to start getting people pulling together here, Republicans and Democrats, because you can't run a war with one party for it and one party against it."
Questioned on some of his previous stances on social conservative issues which were unclear, Brownback asked that he be judged on his record. He said that he has voted 100% of the time for pro-life positions.
This is in contrast to Mitt Romney, who Brownback said that "At times he's stated that he's pro-life, and at times he's stated differently."
